WHAT TYPE OF GOATS DO YOU RAISE?
We raise Nigerian Dwarf goats. These goats are small but mighty! They are a dairy breed which originated from Nigeria. They get to be the size of a medium dog. The females are called does, the males are called bucks (in tact) or wethers (castrated). We raise both ADGA registered and non registered Nigerian Dwarf goats.
DO YOU SELL GOATS?
We do! We will have Nigerian Dwarf kids available in the Spring of 2022, please email us for availability!
These kids will be ADGA registered.
Please note, goats are herd animals, which means they cannot live alone. They will need to be housed with another goat, otherwise they will get lonely which leads to emotional and health issues.
DO YOU SELL GOAT MILK PRODUCTS?
Short answer, no
Long answer, YES!
We will be offering a variety of Goat Milk items in the near future, so please come back often for updates, or give us a follow on our instagram to stay up to date!

WHAT KIND OF CHICKENS DO YOU RAISE?
We pasture raise a variety of chickens.Â
Our chickens were picked out with a lot of thought as to how our chickens would represent The CrazyB Homestead.
DOES EGG COLOR MATTER AND WILL YOU BE SELLING EGGS?
Not to someone who isn't familiar with us here at The CrazyB Homestead!

We chose chickens who will lay the craziest colored eggs you've ever seen! We will have everything from pale rose to bright blue to sage green and even a rusty red!

We wanted eggs that were crazy in color to reflect the crazy that defines us for our customers who buy them by the dozen!
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PASTURE RAISED &Â FREE RANGE CHICKENS
Oh the wonderful world of marketing!

Here at The CrazyB Homestead, we Pasture Raise our chickens which means they are in their natural environment, able to roam the property as they would in the wild, eating all the organic worms, grubs and greenery their pretty little hearts desire.

Free Range Chickens are usually chickens who are able to get out of their stuffy coops and run in an enclosed chicken run of various sizes.
